Historically, Canmore rose to prominence as a mining town. Today, it is a popular destination for tourists due to the abundance of affordable and luxury rentals, a charming downtown, and proximity to Banff. We loved our time in Canmore and highly recommend staying here.

- After a long day, restaurants and bakeries are in the neighborhood for quick and easy access. We loved Mineshaft Tavern for an easy and delicious dinner to pick up! We picked up breakfast pastries in the mornings at the Alder Cafe & Grocery.
- There are walking paths granting guests scenic views of the stunning Rockies.
- The condos are newer and in pristine condition with modern decor.

I also like that the complex offers smaller and large units with three bedrooms. It is one of the best rentals for a family on a budget.
Another perk is that you are within walking distance of Rocky Mountain Bagel Company and Blondies Café, some of our favorite places for breakfast. We loved both places for a quick & easy breakfast before heading into the national park.
