Canmore, Alberta

Canmore, Alberta, is the gateway to Banff National Park. Located about an hour west of Calgary, it is an easy drive if flying into town. Canmore is only 30 minutes from the park and an easy drive on the Trans-Canada Highway.

Historically, Canmore rose to prominence as a mining town. Today, it is a popular destination for tourists due to the abundance of affordable and luxury rentals, a charming downtown, and proximity to Banff. We loved our time in Canmore and highly recommend staying here.

Best Canmore Vacation Rentals

When you book vacation homes, you need to determine your priorities. We must have at least two bathrooms, air conditioning, beds for each family member (no sleeping bags), a fully equipped kitchen, free wifi, dishwasher, and a washing machine & dryer.

Some travelers may desire a gas fireplace, a fitness center, a business center, an outdoor hot tub, a swimming pool, or a tennis court. Others care tremendously about staying in a great location or a place that provides room service. Please pay attention to the rental listing details to ensure you find what you need. My guide will highlight some details to help you find a great place for your next family adventure.

I know most people hate searching for rental properties, but honestly I love it! I’m excited to share my expertise and experiences in finding the best rentals for families.
